Import a 3D model → material → lighting → render → save

  1. Import: open the Add model to canvas dialog and upload a model file (or sync from Blender via the Framo Bridge add-on — see Sign-in, account & public pages for Tools & Extensions). The model is placed as a 3D node on the canvas. See 3D scene editor.
  2. Material / surface look: select the node and use the toolbar MatCap swatches for a quick shaded look, or Background for the backdrop color.
  3. Lighting: use the Lighting button to pick an HDRI preset (e.g. studio).
  4. Frame it: use Navigate 3D to orbit, Zoom to fit to frame, and the FOV slider to set the lens.
  5. Render / capture: generate a still by selecting the model and switching the chat category to Image (or Enhance to upgrade the live scene render). The result is a new image node. See Chat bar: generating images.
  6. Save / export: Download the model from its toolbar, or share the project (3D surface included) via the Share dialog. See Sharing, public viewer & Drops.
